To Dye For

Yesterday was a first attempt to dye Easter eggs with Elle.  It was, shall we say, epic.  There should be a disclaimer on the back of the dye box to all first time parents that reads:  For the sake of the eggs, limit your child's creative freedom!  I suppose most parents gather this on their own.

I knew it was in my best interest to start the process off properly.

FYI:  Coffee makes me happy.  Mugs make me happy.   This mug, given to me by my Kake, makes me extra happy.

I feel it necessary to show the clean and whole eggs before Elle's artistic touch was bestowed upon them.

Here she is!  Could not be more pumped to get started.

Caroline offered much moral support.

I let Elle have freedom to really do this as she wished.  I must have said "gentle" a trillion times.

Elle was so proud of her "eggies!"

Here are our survivors.

And here are some of the not so fortunate.

Some never even had a chance.  Let us take a moment for our fallen comrades.

As Uncle Gray Gray calls, this is my little "hair pie."

Good ole Lu is always up for whatever.

 Happy Good Friday!!!

Ode to My Kake

After YEARS of asking, begging and pleading by my sister to start a blog, I have finally decided to give it a whirl.  Here we go!
